PROP-PAINTING

Tom Betthauser received his MFA from Yale University and currently lives and works in the small desert town of Califorina City, California. He is faculty at Ridgecrest community college where he works to mold the young minds of rural desert youth into powerful creative men and women. This is his first exhibition with the venerated Water McBeer Gallery featuring a new series of hypothetical paintings and drawings that give landscape new substance.
